I hope I'm fortunate enough to work with an agent who is as grateful fortheir job as I am for mine. There's something intensely rewarding about people who *practice gratitude*.

We could all stand to step back and be thankful, couldn't we? I try to stay on top of this all year long. Especially when I get all pissy about some trivial bs. :)
Thank you, Donna! I have a few friends with whom the practice of gratitude is an explicit, shared, regular exercise. THAT is itself something to be thankful for. In two hours, going out with a couple of them. Yay!
Or, as Frank Burns once said, "It's nice to be nice to the nice."
I have been so fortunate in my life, so lucky, so god-damned blessed I sometimes feel as if I have no right to have a bad day. But when I do, and I've had a few lately, I am thankful to be on this side of the grass to have them.
Like I didn't like y'all both enough, then we have this lovely kumbaya party. :)
The only things I'm lacking in my life right now are a baby Jesus for the creche (see Intrepid Baby Jesus post), a stunning pair of palazzos ("Pantsless"), and a certain Mr. X. And the main thing that kills me about that third one is that he is not so blessed, and I can't share my blessings. Gah!
